ALL-STAR GAME CENTRAL

Some of the top talents from the Virgina, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. areas met on Tuesday at Eleanor Roosevelt High School for an evening of top-level basketball.

Three-point champion
Jeremy Williams (Springbrook)

The night opened with the three-point contest as Springbrook’s Jeremy Williams took the title of best three-point shooter.

Underclassmen Game
Team Substance 103, Team Swagger 91

In the underclassmen game, Team Substance took a victory over Team Swagger, 103-91.

Jordan Goodman of Team Substance was named the game’s most valuable player.

Gordon Glaze
(St. John’s Catholic Prep) of Team Swagger scored 36 points albeit in a losing effort.

Upperclassmen Game
Team Substance earns victory

Derrious Gilmore (24 points) of Princeton Day was named the game’s most valuable player as he helped Team Substance outlast a last-second shot attempt from Team Swagger to earn the victory.
